1.What is Bakong Wallet?

Answer: Bakong wallet refers to the account that you created on Bakong Mobile app with your preferred bank and it has 2 currencies (KHR/USD).

2.What is KHQR?

Answer: KHQR is a standardization of QR Code that will promote wider use of mobile retail payments in Cambodia. By prescribing a KHQR (1 QR for all), a single KHQR Code can accept payments via different payment service operators (members of KHQR/Bakong).

3.What is the difference between Bakong and KHQR?

Answer: Bakong is a service use to transfer from SBILH MB to Wallet or to Others Local Bank and with KHQR, you can directly scan and pay to any banks which is members of KHQR without input account number of receivers.

4.How many customers type of Bakong are there? What is their limits amount?

Answer: On Bakong, you can conduct financial service as following

  • •Send and Receive from Bakong Wallet to SBILH MB
  • •Send and Receive from Others Local Banks
  • •Cash-in/Cash-out from Bakong Wallet
  • •Make payment by using QR Code

7.I want to increase my Bakong limit from USD 500 to USD 3,000, what should I do?

Answer: Please contact to our call center 023 980 888 or you can do it by yourself on Bakong Mobile App following the instruction below:

  • Launch the “SBI Ly Hour Bank” mobile app
  • Log in with valid credentials (PIN or Biometrics)
  • •Go to “Setting”
  • •Select on “Verify account and raise the limit”
  • •You will see “Do you want to increase your transaction limit”
  • •Click on “Yes, please”
  • •Then confirm “OK”
  • •The request increase limit is successfully sent
  • •You request will be review and approve by SBILH Bank in the next day

8.I want to increase my Bakong limit from USD 3,000 to USD 10,000, what should I do?

Answer: Yes, you can but please visit our SBILH Bank 5 branches below:

  • Chrouy Changvar
  • 7 Makara
  • Tuol Kork
  • Chbar Ampov (2)

9.What should I do if I forgot my passcode or recovery QR code?

Answer: If you still have access to the app and remember the pin code, you can change your passcode or recovery QR code by yourself by go to “Setting” and “Create new recovery QR code”. If you don’t have access to the forgot the pin code, please visit SBILH Bank 5 branches (Chamkar Mon, Chrouy Chongva, 7 Makara, Toul Kork, Chbar Ompov 2).
