SBI LY HOUR Bank Hosts Humanitarian Event with National Blood Transfusion Center on Valentine’s Day

On February 14, 2026, SBI Ly Hour Bank organized its annual humanitarian event in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Center (NBTC). Held under the theme “Donate Blood, Give Love: A Gift of Love from the Heart,” the event celebrated Valentine’s Day by encouraging life-saving contributions. The initiative saw an impressive turnout of nearly 545 participants, including the bank’s management team, staff at all levels, valued customers, and members of the general public.

During the event, Mr. Mao Polo, Deputy CEO of SBI Ly Hour Bank, expressed the significance of the cause: “Today’s blood donation is a testament to the pure love that SBI Ly Hour Bank employees and all philanthropists have shown by sacrificing to give a second life to patients and to strengthen the humanitarian spirit within our society.” He further urged the public to make donation a habit: “I would like to appeal to and encourage all Cambodian citizens who are eligible to donate blood to volunteer as much as possible every day—not just on Valentine's Day.”

The event took place at the National Blood Transfusion Center (near the Russian Hospital). The primary goals were: Supporting Victims: To provide immediate help to patients in urgent need of blood. Stockpiling Reserves: To increase the national blood supply for future emergencies. Awareness: To remind the public that blood cannot be imported or manufactured in a factory; it can only come from human donors.
